Not really, it sounds a long winded process but isn't.

thats does explain a bit about what happened when i was looking at the mantlet/barrel of the 76mm sherman.

the separate object for every face thing freaked me out a bit >_>

Looks good, I'd like to see the texture though. SU-76M had a tented top, it's not evident from the shaded only untextured model.

Yes, hence the slightly odd looking smoothing on it. Hopefully the texture will bring it alive. :-)

Note that on the textured version spiked removed my lovingly crafted exhaust pipes.

Isn't actually going to be in the next release, I just modelled it as it was a quick job while waiting for Project Reality to download :-)

You guys got any textures I can look at it? I am loving that green shade and can't seem to make it myself -____-

All I can see is random darker and whiter green... Which turns out well, if one knows what he is doing... >__<

Because I like S44 a lot, I decided to help out and make some arty guns (at Nemo's request)

All of my detail is hand-drawn using the darken/lighten tool at various strengths, usually over a single flat green colour.

You know, I should totally make a quick little texture tutorial.

Yes, you should, it would be helpful.

I have an idea I may be able to use...

It looks really good, either way

Really excellent there, Spiked, you've gotten the color-tones and wear marks to look a lot better each tank!

Heh, you picked a bit of a bad angle there Spiked, it looks like the tank should tip backwards from there, with a such a far-back turret

Why is it that I can't find anything to complain about your work...
