Chainquiting must be exterminated

[17:34:47] * [IHSA]aap has left battle
[17:35:03] * Venator has left battle
[17:35:05] * GolemXIII has left battle
[17:35:06] * [XHC]Cabbage has left battle
[17:35:08] * Suicidal_Insanity has left battle
[17:35:08] * maxivillus has left battle
[17:35:09] * Iz3 has left battle
I just played a game, i went to bathroom after the game was over, when i came back, what i saw was that, in 6 seconds 6 players quited after the first one.

1) One player quits ([IHSA]aap in this case).
2) some other player sees that, and quits with him.
3) rest of the players follows, and quits.

What the hell!!? really? I have seen such reactions since i started playing at internet 6 years ago. That same reaction just stays, and its always same: one quits, all quits.

Maybe we should have silent quit system, so it wouldnt show when player has quited, then people would chainquit less?

I think the important thing here is that you need to see a doctor. It isn't natural to spend so much time on the toilet. You might have a bowel disorder. Don't worry, I hear such conditions are highly treatable and manageable.

How many of you can shit in 2 minutes every time? Not me, how i can speed up my shitting then? I aint gonna eat any drugs just because of TASpring. I think its less healthy to stop the shitting, than continuing it for another 2 minutes.

Sometimes i shit fast, but sometimes not, its about what i eat, and what i do, i dont really know, but i dont really care either, and its not about when im shitting, its about that when one leaves, then all leaves, its nothing to do with what i do. I could spend that 2 minutes by chatting with my family or doing something else. Its not about shitting, you know. Life is not all about shitting.

That's just the nature of certain games, that's why you need to be careful when you play with unknowns.

I recognize your complaint... but seriously, I don't see the big deal, they have decided they want to play a more full server on a map they like more or something, rather then waiting 20 minutes for a server on a map they really don't like that much to fill up again.

Fair enough IMO. I rarely stick around for tonnes of games in a row. You just happened to catch an example of multiple people getting the same notion for whatever reason.

It was just one game, my first game today... but anyways, its not about what map or mod i play, or game what i play, its just about people who for some reason wants to leave the game just because someone else does it... Its not really TASpring issue, it happens in any internet game :S

TM, I think you might be getting it wrong here. I think you are seeing causality where there is none. All players wanted to leave after the game. Most people like to stick around for a minute or so for after game chatting, then leave. Just because someone leaves first does not mean that the other guys left because of the first guy. They just all wanted to leave.

No, its because one leaves: all leaves. Ive seriously seen this happening over 6 years since i started playing different games at internet.

I have also tested people by leaving myself first, then watching with another fake account when others follows my leaving, and soon the room is empty :DD (not in TASpring)

I cant be that lucky that all players suddenly thinks the same and leaves almost same time. Its not just possible they all acts same at almost same time.

It's the after-game chat thing. I'll hang around to see if someone is going to comment on the game, but when people start leaving I realize it's over / not going to happen, and I leave too. It's not that I would have stayed for another game if nobody had left in the first few minutes.

if someone leaves at the start it dosnt take a sec to re if everyone readys up straight away. if someone leaves midgame the decent thing is to .take em. dunno how it works in the BA community but in XTA ragequitters tend to be remembered and kicked from battlerooms
