And now we break for National News├óÔé¼Ôäós
├óÔé¼┼ôToday, we are back with a late breaking announcement. The world├óÔé¼Ôäós leaders have been arguing over the deployment of nuclear weapons against the zombie threat. Several of the smaller nuclear nations have already begun to sell armaments to the besieged nations, which now include the additions of China, several smaller nations in the Middle Eastern Coalition and the entirety of the South American Bloc. The relocated U.N issues a statement declaring that any use of a nuclear weapon will be considered unlawful. The United State├óÔé¼Ôäós has issued a no nuke policy, saying that a anti-zombie use of a nuclear weapon could be simply a cover for a nuclear attack on another country. We will have more information on this at 5:00AM

The bullet whiffed through the air at speeds so high it left a vacuumed behind it. This hyper sonic, AP round whizzed straight through Napalm├óÔé¼Ôäós left ear lobe. ├óÔé¼┼ôSHIT!├óÔé¼┬Ø he cried, trying to clap his hand to his ear with his cuffed hands. Alanti looked around at the puddle├óÔé¼Ôäós of viscous goo that formed around five rail guns, and a few comical hats. ├óÔé¼┼ôWhat happened!├óÔé¼┬Ø he asked to no one in particular. Napalm grunted, trying to saw his cuff├óÔé¼Ôäós of with a jagged rock that stuck off the edge of the cliff.
aGorm noticed the melting├óÔé¼Ôäós when a surprised guard splattered onto the ground in front of him. The guard had been on a catwalk above aGorm, leaning against a guild rail and when he started to melt he had slid thought the rail. that leave├óÔé¼Ôäós about twenty to thirty solids left in this place thought aGorm. He continued to stride down the corridor, towards the prison compound.
Suddenly a chuck of the wall exploded into a cloud of dust. aGorm ducked as a the air cracked, the tunnel of broken air created by the rail gun round collapsing with a snap. Three more bullet├óÔé¼Ôäós rammed into the wall he was behind, blasting more particulate matter into the atmosphere. aGorm chanced a look and ducked back as more shots blasted the wall├óÔé¼Ôäós around him apart. The single guard fired another five rounds to suppress aGorm.
├óÔé¼┼ôI here a rail gun├óÔé¼┬Ø said Alanti as Napalm cut his cuff├óÔé¼Ôäós off with a combat knife, found in one of the goo piles. ├óÔé¼┼ôGrab a gun and lets go rescue aGorm and Zoombie!├óÔé¼┬Ø Napalm said as Alanti threw his cuffs away into the ocean. They both grabbed the long barreled rifles, Alanti distastefully whipping some reddish good from the handle. Napalm went through a door into what appeared to be a large factory.
The massive chamber was filled with vat├óÔé¼Ôäós, each one suspended about ten feet of the ground. Each vat was a sphere with a dimly visible human body growing in it. A humming sound from the vats masked Alanti and Napalm├óÔé¼Ôäós quiet foot steps. ├óÔé¼┼ôThere├óÔé¼Ôäós the control room, id guess├óÔé¼┬Ø Alanti said, pointing out a abandoned room that overlooked the entire factory. ├óÔé¼┼ôLets blow that on our way our├óÔé¼┬Ø suggested Napalm. Ten more shots echoed through the base. ├óÔé¼┼ôLet├óÔé¼Ôäós go!├óÔé¼┬Ø urged Alanti.
aGorm├óÔé¼Ôäós hand had a hole straight through it. He had been reaching for the rail gun of the guard that had plummeted in front of him, but his assailant saw it and fired of a short burst. One had shot straight through aGorm├óÔé¼Ôäós hand, cutting it as finely as a laser. aGorm gasped mouthed obscenity├óÔé¼Ôäós wordlessly. Putting pressure on the hand, he clamped his other hand down on it hard. The guard├óÔé¼Ôäós foot steps started to come closer, now that he realized that aGorm didn├óÔé¼Ôäót have a gun.
Then another shot rang out and aGorm heard a splat, and then the thud of a body dropping. ├óÔé¼┼ôLooks like we got here right in time!├óÔé¼┬Ø said a cheer full Alanti as he and Napalm walked to aGorm. ├óÔé¼┼ôDo you have a medical pack?├óÔé¼┬Ø asked aGorm. Napalm picked up something form the dead guard. ├óÔé¼┼ôNo, I have something better├óÔé¼┬Ø he held up a roll of duck tape.
Buckaroo stormed into Zoombie├óÔé¼Ôäós cell. ├óÔé¼┼ôIt got to be your fault!├óÔé¼┬Ø he raged, his eye├óÔé¼Ôäós popping. Zoombie didn├óÔé¼Ôäót say anything. ├óÔé¼┼ôDamn, you must of done something, You and your friend aGorm!├óÔé¼┬Ø Banzi said, his voice rising to hysterics. He whipped out a pistol from his black robe├óÔé¼Ôäós. ├óÔé¼┼ôI wont let a filthy zombie stop me├óÔé¼┬Ø he said, giggling insanely. Buckaroo steeped right up to Zoombie and planted the pistol under his chin. Zoombie lunged forward and bit deep into the man├óÔé¼Ôäós neck, his teeth sinking into Buckaroo├óÔé¼Ôäós throat and jugular. Buckaroo collapsed backwards and gurgled. His pistol hit the floor as he backed against the wall, blood spurting from his neck. ├óÔé¼┼ôI├óÔé¼┬ª.├óÔé¼┬Ø he managed to gasp out ├óÔé¼┼ôit├óÔé¼┬ª was├óÔé¼┬ª├óÔé¼┬Ø he died, the blood flow stopping. He slid to the side, his head tilted at an odd angle. His blood splattered watch read

Alanti, aGorm and Napalm ran into the door to Zoombie├óÔé¼Ôäós cell and found it to be locked. The quick discussion between aGorm├óÔé¼Ôäós foot and the door was surprisingly effective as the cheap wooden door smashed inwards. aGorm looked at Buckaroo Banzi├óÔé¼Ôäós dead face and gasped ├óÔé¼┼ôhe├óÔé¼Ôäós dead!├óÔé¼┬Ø
Buckaroo Banzi lurched back to life. ├óÔé¼┼ôHE├óÔé¼ÔäóS DEAD!├óÔé¼┬Ø shouted Alanti as Banzi├óÔé¼Ôäós hands clasped onto his shirt. Napalm smashed his combat knife into the zombie├óÔé¼Ôäós skull and Buckaroo died again, with a look of surprise on his face. The PA of the installation turned on.
├óÔé¼┼ôThis is a recording, connected to a small heartbeat monitor. Roughly thirty seconds after my death, this base will self destruct. I learned this from the late and not lamented Hanor Xan, that if you leave all your nice things around, someone will steal it. Also, on the off chance that my killers are here, they will be annihilated. But because I keep up the news, I wanted to leave my calling card├óÔé¼┬Ø
Alanti looked at Napalm. ├óÔé¼┼ôThat doesn├óÔé¼Ôäót sound good├óÔé¼┬Ø
├óÔé¼┬ØThe so called ├óÔé¼╦£Star Wars├óÔé¼Ôäó peace platform can stop any intercontinental missal launch. But that hasn├óÔé¼Ôäót stopped me form procuring two nukes from a more├óÔé¼┬ª philanthropic party of the South American Block. In the ZET├óÔé¼ÔäóS Final Episode, can the brave members of the Zombie Extermination Team escape from Buckaroo├óÔé¼Ôäós trap to home
Zombie Extermination Team: Endgame - By Zoombie
The entire flood slanted sharply to the left. aGorm, Napalm, Alanti and Buckaroo├óÔé¼Ôäós corpse slid downwards and smashed against the wall. Napalm almost fell out the window, but he grabbed the window sill just in time. A dull boom and a long, protracted roar continued as the floor rocked some more. ├óÔé¼┼ôQuick! Grab Zoombie!├óÔé¼┬Ø shouted Alanti as he pulled Napalm back in. aGorm managed to crawl up to Zoombie, who was perched in the door frame of his prison by his remaining arm.
aGorm tried to grab him, but the building rocked again to a new explosion. This time, the explosive was set at the base of the island. It cause the entire left half of the tower that the party was in the collapse. ├óÔé¼┼ôLeave├óÔé¼┬ª me├óÔé¼┬Ø Zoombie managed to whisper from his damaged vocal system. His clapped his hand on aGorm, then tossed him towards the corridor. aGorm slid down to Napalm and Alanti, both whom where trying to clamber into the corridor. ├óÔé¼┼ôLet├óÔé¼Ôäós get the fuck out of here!├óÔé¼┬Ø shouted aGorm as they started to rush down the corridor. aGorm stole one last look at Zoombie, then was gone.
The entire tower exploded at the base, and the fire ball quickly ripped up to the top. aGorm, Napalm and Alanti dived out of the corridor into the cloning vats, the entire building they had just left collapsing. The Vat├óÔé¼Ôäós weren├óÔé¼Ôäót doing so well, either. Charge├óÔé¼Ôäós on each of them had split them down the middle, spilling their horrific contents to writhe on the floor. Alanti tripped on one of these and fell into it. He shouted in horror at its underdeveloped face and the groining moan that escaped it. Napalm pulled him up and aGorm pulled out his side arm, and shot the thing dead.
The Vat shook to a new explosion. ├óÔé¼┼ôOh what the hell now├óÔé¼┬Ø gasped aGorm as the entire back wall, about thirty meters away from them, exploded into small fragments. ├óÔé¼┼ôQuick!├óÔé¼┬Ø shouted Napalm, throwing his comrades into a near by door way as a massive concussion threw deadly shrapnel every where. One smashed into Alanti├óÔé¼Ôäós leg, shattering its bone into fragments. He shouted and fell. aGorm and Napalm turned to get him. ├óÔé¼┼ôLeave me!├óÔé¼┬Ø he shouted. ├óÔé¼┼ôHell NO!├óÔé¼┬Ø shouted Napalm, grabbing his arm and dragging him into the room.
Alanti was supported between aGorm and Napalm as they dashed towards the exit. ├óÔé¼┼ôThis way will get us to the Helicopters!├óÔé¼┬Ø aGorm shouted. ├óÔé¼┼ôGood!├óÔé¼┬Ø Napalm yelled back as three Guards ran round a corner to face them. Another explosion blasted their feet out from under them, throwing them against a wall. aGorm and Napalm dashed past their prone form├óÔé¼Ôäós. They burst into light, dawn shining straight into their eye├óÔé¼Ôäós. A final explosion consumed the main portion of the base, causing the barracks and the factory to collapse onto them selves.
aGorm shoved Alanti into the back of the helicopter as Napalm climbed in. aGorm ducked into the gunnery seat, the only seat left. ├óÔé¼┼ôShit!├óÔé¼┬Ø shouted Napalm over the explosions. ├óÔé¼┼ôWhat!├óÔé¼┬Ø aGorm yelled back. ├óÔé¼┼ôThere might not be enough fuel to├óÔé¼┬Ø Napalm said. aGorm cut him off ├óÔé¼┼ôJUT GO!├óÔé¼┬Ø
The helicopter took off as the helicopter pad started to collapse to the side. The helicopter flew away from Hanor Xan├óÔé¼Ôäós base, the final resting place of Buckaroo Banzi and Zoombie as it blasted itself into million├óÔé¼Ôäós of pieces.
aGorm searched around and finally found a medical pack and got a binder. He then clamped in on the wound of Alanti├óÔé¼Ôäós leg, climbing the bone├óÔé¼Ôäós together and pumping Alanti with painkillers. ├óÔé¼┼ôThat should hold you!├óÔé¼┬Ø said aGorm, clapping Alanti on the shoulder. Alanti giggled, a feeling of euphoria flooding his mind as an side effect of the drugs.
Napalm felt a flutter of unease as he flipped on the satellite uplink. He did not know why he was anxious, but simply that he was. Suddenly static pumped through the speakers. ├óÔé¼┼ôWhat the?├óÔé¼┬Ø he whispered to him self. ├óÔé¼┼ôaGorm!├óÔé¼┬Ø he said ├óÔé¼┼ôI├óÔé¼Ôäóm not getting anything on the uplink!├óÔé¼┬Ø
├óÔé¼┼ôTry the radio, maybe weather is blocking Diego├óÔé¼┬Ø
Napalm flipped to the general radio brand. He caught a flicker of a sentence ├óÔé¼┼ô<static>Emergency<static>-ot a Test<static>├óÔé¼┬Ø
├óÔé¼┼ôI├óÔé¼Ôäóm not sure what to make of this, aGorm├óÔé¼┬ª its really fain├óÔé¼┬Ø Napalm said, his brow creased.
├óÔé¼┼ôUhhh├óÔé¼┬ª. Try increasing the power├óÔé¼┬Ø aGorm responded, trying to find a scalpel and other surgery tool├óÔé¼Ôäós from the med kit.
├óÔé¼┼ôYeah├óÔé¼┬ª I knew that!├óÔé¼┬Ø Napalm muttered, turning several dials up. The signal was suddenly all to clear.
├óÔé¼┼ôThe satellite network is down. This is an emergency broadcast. This is Not a Test. The satellite network is down. This is an emergency broadcast. This is Not a Test. The satellite network is down. This is an emergency broadcast. This is Not a Test.├óÔé¼┬Ø
Napalm switched it off and sighed in frustration.
<an hour later>
The land was visible, a dim shape in the distance. aGorm had switched places with Napalm, and he was trying to gauge where he was. Either off Florida or California, he would guess, but this all became academic when a second sun rise suddenly blinded him. He didn├óÔé¼Ôäót have time to cover he eye├óÔé¼Ôäós as a light brighter then the sun flooded the cockpit. However he wasn├óÔé¼Ôäót blinded because the cockpit├óÔé¼Ôäós smart-glass├óÔÇ×┬ó reacted to the light and dimmed itself. aGorm blinked several times and cleared his vision. ├óÔé¼┼ôOh shit├óÔé¼┬Ø whispered Napalm, looking out the window with him. A dim, but definable shape, was in the distance.
It was a mushroom cloud.
It was at the year 2101 that the world ended. With talks down due to the collapse of the satellite network, the U.N collapsed having long since disbanded to around the globe, using auto-translators and holo-phones. The Star Warz defensive platform was also dead, unable to target missiles and even receive orders on witch missiles to target. The crew was forced to watch as at least three different countries fired their missiles. Each one wanted to expand their territory, wanted to crush their rivals. In the end, some how, the US and the Russian Consortium detected the missiles in time to fire their own. The entire planet was scoured, and suddenly Zombie├óÔé¼Ôäós where the least of the planets troubles├óÔé¼┬ª

aGorm shoved Alanti into the back of the helicopter as Napalm climbed in. aGorm ducked into the gunnery seat, the only seat left.
<an hour later>
