And yeah, Argh, deleting all copies and refusing to even name it is the best way to ensure a successfull future for <secret project>.

The problem is, while indeed we have said what we had to say then repeated copious amount of times, nothing has been resolved yet, and if we close that topic, the same debate will just arise in another thread again.

Anyway, if this is gonna get closed, I just want to remind future reader of this thread to read all post, starting at least there, though it really started there, since my points were clear then, and the rest of the thread has been about adding mud and fog to avoid adressing them.

zwzsg, I think you have not acted in the way you think you have, and I think all parties in this thread have acted in a less then respectible manner.

Just, ease off a little, and start behaving in a manner that we have come to expect of you through the years in which you have raised yourself up to be one of the leaders of the TA community.

All sides here are behaving full of pride and stubborness, with the goals originally set out to achieve at the start having long been forgotten in order to prove your point. (that sounds awfully like the TA intro...)

Consider, for a moment, the cyclic walk animation thread.

If you cut out all the bullshit, that thread contained the following:

- argh, a proven skilled scripter, posting a script that he wanted to share with the community that he thought was good
- zwzsg and others, also proven scripters, analysing and pointing out errors with the script
- argh rectifying the situation, and fixing his script
- all parties gaining better scripts from the interaction.

Now, throw in some massive egos, stubborness and general angst, and you have the totally unnecessary flamefest we had, which not only hurts your reputations (all of you), it hurts spring, as you guys are the leaders of the community. It hurts the mods that would benefit from these scripts, which should be posted and criticised and improved on, and now won't be. Most of all, it hurts the end-user, which we all working for in the first place.

Everyone here needs to grow up a little, act with a little more humility, and just start fucking behaving themselves.

Admittedly, both sides of this conflict have resorted to personal attacks and thus undermined their own positions. However, they are equally culpable in that respect. You must not fight fire with fire, for even if your conflagration exhausts all of the surrounding fuel rather than your foe's, you profit nothing. The earth is still scorched, so to speak.

Be that as it may, zszwg has raised a number of issues which, despite numerous attempts at a riposte, cannot be flicked away without further consideration. You do us all a great disservice when you attempt to misdirect or confuse us. This is not a spectacle, this is a discussion about legitimate issues.

The Secret Project was never secret, by the by, it just takes dual inductive and deductive logic applied to the given statements and participants. Of course, the idea of secrets, when applied to the internet, is rather laughable.

Argh however, is either blind, or in complete denial.

He's not even acknowledging that the script Zwzsg is talking about even exists, he's not even refering to it in his posts, he's only talking about how everyone is out to get him. WTF? Just ungpl the script, reupload, link zwzsg, call it good.

My theory is that this whole thing is causing Argh so much mental anguish that is brain is blocking it out as a defense mechanism. Before Argh was policing the gpl against Fang, which oddly enough made him freak out and leave the community, now however someone is policing him, causing him to go nuts and into complete denial?
