Uhhh, i tihnk we really need soemthing other than a hedgehog or porcupine.

Hdgehog -> Sonic the Hedgehog took that already.

Porcupine -> Porcing is bad. Very very bad. Having Porcy the spring Porcupine might induce newbies into trying to porc more - bad idea.

how about something else, like a hamster or gerbil?you can have his hamster ball be a full version of the spring logo.

or better yet, a guinea pig or rabbit or deer. nothing says spring like deers!

arbitrary object -> the wombles

Spring means 'to spring forward' not 'winters ending yay!'. Someone jumping around or a spring coiled up or bouncing would be far more appropriate than a deer or a scene of birds in a meadow, not to mention that its much better for the context of an RTS engine.

Would you want a furry peewee with a heart? Or a peewee with springs attatched to its feet jumping around killing things?
