Actually, a friend of mine got one running on his box.

The reason you'll be using a VPN is to play WC3 over LAN as it is with most other games you didn't pay for. Although I bought it.

WC3+TFT is a must, because all the better TD and RPG maps make use of TFT features.

Any of you played that StarCraft RPG map or actually beat it?

Yeah, a horde of archers will beat a balanced force of the same gold cost...

..but only when the gold cost is in a certain range. Too low, and there won't be enough archers to really get rolling, too high and your massive bunches of archers will get murderized by seige. The problem, of course, is that 80% of games end up in the Archers Win range.
