Rules like Dgun limited or com end have to be said !!!

Real men play comm ends with unlimited D-Gun!

You SHOULD NOT have idle builders. It's a cardinal sin and wasted potential.

Use them or reclaim them, simple. Adding a "better" mechanism for cycling through something you should not have just promotes bad habits.

That is why extra strategy is needed to protect or destroy the commanders, it makes the game more interesting.

The problem is that who defends must make a defense for ever single type of attack he might receive, while the attacker must make just one type of attack. making a little of each defense doesnt work cause who attacks generaly invested on that type of attack so unleash you invested a lot on defense to that you lose.

You can't rush or bomb a com in XTA because you didn't build any units, only defence.

Cloaked, better-defended than my Fusions, and well away from the decoys. That's where it should be if the enemy has enough econ to deep-strike bombers in to take him out.

XTA plays best on commander continues. The XTA regulars caught some kind of decency of KnoX and nobody combombs. more to the point though, the XTA commander is kickass on normal units, and late game when you have enough E to remain cloaked and spread jammers around the XTA commander is crazy dangerous.it might be needed in BA cuz AA coms are more of a liability than in xta.com ends is espcecially fail in teamgames imo, i just leads to people combombing the enemy com while giving all their stuff to an ally.

Rules like no comdropping have to be said!

Like, I will kick someone who comdrops me even though it takes place nine whole minutes into the game and he had to call off his original comdrop target because the guy had the sense to *shudder* build one missile turret! Not to mention someone else did it first but I won't kick him for whatever reason!

Both sides could do the same, so, yes, it is. It is however a shitty thing to do, at it'll prevent both players from actually playing any longer.

And Pxtl is right, if you're playing com ends, killing an enemy commander won't be easy, and if that's the focus of a player, he will screw up for his entire team.

That isn't any different from a commander continues game though. and extra strategy to protect commander doesn't really have to mean more defence, it could be to make sure it's always followed by a small army.

I remember in OTA games this kind shit when the game started:

no bb
no emgs
no nukes
no rush
bt 15mins
no hill shit
no combombing
no air

All in ONE game :lol:

And what is weird, everyone followed the rules o_O

I'd put an annihilator on the biggest hill I could find, a nuke silo in my base, and ONLY attack with air, RIGHT at the 15 min time-marker...

it'd be funny as hell! :lol:
