Somebody make us a Freespace mod!

im not sure why my being sarcastic about a freespace mod for spring would relate or require a hack of EE, but anywho caydr I hope you arent signed up to put those adds out cause if your goal is to get more hits EE isnt the mod to hack..

AF even if you abandon the mex system and removed the ground, you still do not have 3d flight because aircraft are still bound by their cruise altitude which is bound by the ground which whether its visible or not is still there... 3d space strat does not work well in spring atm.. and frankly Im not sure how much work would be required to get it working..

Have you people heard of this game called I think it was... home.. home somthing.. wait.. Homeworld.. that was it, no wait it was the 2nd one.. wait yeah.. Im pretty sure this homeworld game had actual 3d space combat with subsystems, and fighter groups and such, I could be wrong, wait I even think there was a freespace mod for it too..

I mean we could do that, or a spring version which would be flat.. and ruin freespace for everyone..

yeah basically this like that other idea thread about a robotech mod, would just not work in spring.. and making a poor attempt at it is worse than not making it at all..
