Flame or not your spam of pointless posts contributed to that thread being locked, I think most people would agree with me on that. Even if they don't, it seems Decimator did, and he's the one that locked the thread, after all.

Also I don't see where I went "flying off the handle"

Regrettably this is going down the same old path that leads to locked thread. Seems the topic of discussion has deviated from what tombom intended and become more specifically a "smoth vs DemO" face off in your eyes. I'm not trying to attack you. Why do so many threads with you in them end up turning into troll central and eventually being locked, smoth?

because I post in many threads, you are just focused on this one. Look at the past 10 posts by me. I post a lot. I post in more then one thread at one time, partly because I have a broad range of knowledge there are times where I post back to back in modeling, moding, feature request and some other misc subforums. I am a talkative guy.

I was part of the topic of conversation when this post started. I went into main to see what the hell the deal was and was there for several hours. So yeah, this thread applies to me. So, no you came in to put your 2 cents on a thread that was originally talking some imaginary hivemind including, fang, wasp and many other people from the forum I run. So, no I am not off topic. I could not be MORE on topic.

btw the threads are not ONLY me going off topic. Tons of other people NOT from my forum also post so I am here debunking that sort of EE Super Friends conspiracy. The reason those threads were locked was not because of my jokes but the flames those jokes were reducing. Again, Not all threads I post in are locked, I am posting in many threads and you are just focused on the negative ones. YOU narrowed YOUR VISION and MIND.

i don't like you. i think you are a whiny drama queen who confuses this forum with his social life, i think you believe you are a lot more important that you are, you complain too much, you annoy people by posting in pink for no other reason than it amuses you, you troll and flame threads that could actually be good because you decided you don't like them, you actually think that is good behavior, you refuse to acknowledge that most actual players don't share your opinions, you constantly insult people who don't like your mod by telling them they don't understand it. also, you represent a clique of people who seem to claim the spring community for themselves, even though the playerbase has radically different interests and opinions. you, fang and the gang insult good players just because they are good players, you don't like people playing TA based mods even though those exact people form the community you claim to want to help. you are completely detached from people actually playing the game, yet you want to represent them. no, i really don't like you. while you do help people out around here, i think you do more damage to this forum that you help it, and i would welcome it of you went and never came back.

well, so much for my opinion, offered because you asked for it. nobody will care about a random players opinion about you. what i would enjoy, though, would be if moderators reprimanded you for spam just as they would a newbie.

How? Many people who do not like my mod have not even tried it. I have asked many many times about why people do or do not like gundam. However, ultimately the answer is that they do not like it because it is not TA... and most of them will not try it. So yeah, many of them have not even tried it to understand it. I left for a while and I did not like what happened in my absence, I watch people make fun of me etc and watch people make fun of my mod. I came back because one project developer decided to go way overboard over something that was being rectified as he started a drama bomb. I then stuck around with the intent of passing along what I know and helping others while I work on my project.

I'd rather you say what you are really thinking then all the pussy-footing that has been going on for over a month. I am not likely to change much on many of these points and frankly many of them are you just lumping me into some non-existent group. I do disagree that I *think* I am important, I am important I do help people.

To address another point, you and quite a few others (jack and steven come to mind immediately) are never reprimanded when you post pointless random stuff and derail threads, so why should anyone else? Fang and smoth, if you will notice, only do it when they deem a thread should die (not so say that it's right per se, but it at least has a purpose and is only occasional).

Regardless, I have not spoken to anyone since sunday as I've had a rough week, so I have no idea what's been going on internally. But that is my opinion.

Yes, smoth can be a little irritating when he's agitated and I get frustrated with him sometimes as well, but damn, he's a great guy, and he's a diamond mine of information and in many ways is a shining example of true friendship. I can't tell you how many times he's stayed up with me on TeamTalk till like 6 am to teach me how to do stuff. Lathan has done this many many times as well.

This brings me to another point... Our teamtalk channel is open to anyone, if you have that much of a problem with someone from smoth's forum, why don't you jump on some time and talk it out. We are all very nice people, but we have a relatively low tolerance for bullcrap on the forums, especially when we are trying to get something done.

Think about what I said concerning the teamtalk thing, that goes to everyone here. For that matter, if you are irritated about my maps being large, why not jump on teamtalk some time and talk to me about it. I'm probably the nicest and most patient person around (most of the time) on teamtalk and in general, but still, the point remains. It's not difficult to join the server (go to smoths forums for the info, it's stickied in the discussion forum), and as long as you are polite and not being an asshole, no one will be an asshole or impolite back.

Meh, tbh I'm a little sad to think this but... This post probably accomplished nothing

You once left this forum claiming that you were being trolled constantly and yet you do things like posting in a hard to read color just to annoy people. It seems to me like you're on the one hand trying to bring abuse out of people, and then acting the victim when it comes. If I were you I would think about why you're doing this, instead of just trying to get along with others. tbh this sort of thing is the main issue I have with you, otherwise I've seen you to be a pretty good guy. Same goes for a number of others who do this sort of thing.

I do that quite often, and I believe I haven't been flamed, even as being a newb and a phailure and asking so many questions.
