This was a simulated engagement, with two blobs starting next to each other and then opening fire (the gators lost because their guns jammed for whatever reason), but it's based (loosely) on an actual ingame situation I've experienced, where the gators won. ^.^ (damn I lost the replay, otherwise I'd post it somewhere)

Some math:
It takes about 6.5 seconds for a Flash to kill a gator (693 hp vs 106.45 DPS) but only approx. 5.85 seconds for a gator to kill a Flash (570 hp vs. 97.4 DPS), and the gator outranges the Flash.

EDIT:
Did another, more realistic test: 30 Flashes and 30 Instigators charging into each other on Delta Siege Dry. It ended with 7 gators surrounding a lone flash stuck in wreckage

delta dry has a typemap that makes vehs go faster

wow, I never browse this forum you know noize, something about that shot... if it had shadows I think it would make a good background.
