They say in the article that hacking is difficult but this is Myspace. Most users are too dumb to even remember a secure password, they probably use their username or just "password". Even then most probably have security questions so ridiculousy dumb that any idiot who has watched five minutes of MTV can guess them off-hand. A totally tech-illiterate person I know got a few passwords for a similar website just by either guessing some really dumb questions ("Whassup?" "Nothing") or asking people for the data their security question asked for. Or hell, maybe she was dumb enough to open an .exe file a "friend" sent her.

But even then I doubt it was hacking, that's just the standard excuse for dumb shit you do on the internet.

I dunno, there doesn't appear to be any sort of political or point or celebrity involvemet being made in the artical so I'd be inclined to believe it.

After all you do hear about things like this. I can think of at least two parties I've heard off that have got out of controll and cost the house-owner thousands.

What a stupid bitch!! lol

invite people over, beer, smokes, and umm.. pissing on the floor?
fuck, when the doors came off the house, frankly, I'd have called the cops myself, and asked for the SWAT team. :P

I'd of had 90% of those a-holes arrested for vandalism.

I've thrown some killer parties in the day, 100+ people in the Frat house... and frankly, if we don't know you, you don't come in. Simple as that. Even on "open" invitation parties...

The only exception to that rule is a GOOD friend to the frat can bring 2 "guests" wether we know them or not...

30 men in the frat, 90 some odd invites, with about 30 guests, and about 40 random girls who show up... thats about enough people to yeah, have that kinda situation...

but we know one another. and we have rules..

1- no smoking in the house. period.
2- a TABC licenced bartender runs the bar, the beer, the kegs, whatever is there...
3- we always have every exterior door closed and locked except for the one to the patio. (the front door is manned by a paid security officer at all times.) if you have a security officer on the scene, and he's passing out wristbands, wether or not they stay on the person, or we even look for them dosen't matter, but if EVERYONE is inside, nobody is drinking outside, and we have security there, cops CANNOT come inside. period.
4- Every exterior window is covered with black opaque material. Cops can't see inside, cops can't come inside on due cause or whatever...
5- We take EVERYTHING valuable, and stuff it in the basement and lock the door.
6- All the floors are hardwood, easy to mop clean.
7- 2am, party shuts down, its now a frat brother, and VERY few invites only party. (noize complaints suck ass..)
8- nobody goes upstairs but girls to use the "clean" pisser, and frat brothers.
9- if you are too drunk to stand, you don't drink.
10- yeah, and umm... we are our own bouncers. people piss us off, they get broken... we've sent MANY a man to the ER and smashed in windows of a-holes talking shit from their cars....

all in all though, 99% of the time, everything runs very smooth and well, we have a DAMN good time..

I wish I could make it up to Lubbock this year for the Luau party... :( but oh well... work is work, and money is important... :P

just for those that say "awwwww horseshit!!!" when they fix the effin pictures link on the page, its goin up...

Same here.

You should hear the Now Show go on about the Daily Mail...

Marcus Brigstocke (Author of the Pac-Man joke) on how the EU are trying to switch people over to energy conserving lightbulbs, and the Daily Mail's "EU STEALING OUR LIGHTBULBS" headline:
"Good grief, only the Daily Mail could try to generate a feeling of nostalgic inertia over a bloody lightbulb!"
