Somebody asked about my Avatar the other day, but I think I only had a mouse hand free at the time... It's because I love Jesus =)

Does that answer the question?

Some could argue it is blasphemous but I would advise that religious symbols not be expressed in such ways.

This one is a unit called Devil Hunter, the walking animation is great.
and the unit is so... another-game looking.. heh
I had one avatar with a captured enemy commander on a valkyre
very nice screenshot, with finks flying in the back, ground and water...

e: spiffi=stylish?... i see it as stylish.. maybe not much... ill try another angle
yeps, its an Anglar Hunter Warrior.
Devil Hunter is just the name the guy that made merlinpack (@ur own risk) gave them.
that pack was a buch of hacked (stolen) cool third party units. funny to play.
Was one of the first packs of units i played. utasp, uberhack, AA... i came to know them later, but at that time nobody played TA any more. :/

HEY! Dawn of the Dead was a master piece, but the remake was CRAP! UNMITIGATED CRAP! Day of the Dead was less great but it had Bub!

Bub is one of the experiment specimens in a laboratory underground. The zombie's have pretty much gotten every one else, and now the scientists at the lab are trying to find out how to save the world. Unfortunately, one of the scientists goes a little wacko and every body but, Bub and the semi-nice people in the base die. The nice people escape to a Caribbean island and live there. Ironically, Bub is the nicest, kindest character in the entire film. He just dose what he should do naturally... its just that is eating humans.

He gets the gun because the scientist gives it to him (with no ammo in it, cause he is just insane and not an idiot) and Bub remembers how to use it. Most likely cause he was some one in the military. They find this out when he see's the Sergeant at the base (who is charged with defending the scientists) and salutes him.

But even though Bub is great, Dawn of the Dead totally trumps it. Its awesome through and through! If you haven├óÔé¼Ôäót seen it, see it!

I watch Episode II of star wars last night, and i was wondering who wrote this? A six year old!

HEY! the remake wasent CRAP! It was the first horror movie where i relly got scared becuase of something else then the boggie man or whatever jumped relly fast out of a corner and screamed!

The effects where nice, the story was pretty good...

he only thing i DONT like about is that stupid little girl. When they send some food using the dog over to the starving man and the zoombies come into the dog hatch, she must offcourse strool right over the sea of zombies to save... her dog.
I mean COME ON. I hate when pepole are stupid and tryes to save someone in general (if it's hard, not if it's like giving him a hand or something) but when someone is willing to risk their life for pet when theres like 10 000 zombies out side their door and shit, let them die.

aside from that, it ruled. hell, even the extra material was the best i ever seen, and it acully added to the story.

But even though Bub is great, Dawn of the Dead totally trumps it. Its awesome through and through! If you haven├óÔé¼Ôäót seen it, see it!
Aculy, that one is the ONLY one i havent seen of the old ''of the dead'' series. Oh well, ill rent it sometime.

But the zombie's where dumb! They didn├óÔé¼Ôäót have any personality, and no signifying futures! They didn├óÔé¼Ôäót die in hilarious and bizarre ways! Also the remake rushes from one scene to the next, trying to get as much in your face as fast as possible. If the director slowed down and cut the number of cast members down to 4 -8, then we might actually CARE about them when a zombie rip's out their jugular! Instead the remake has about.... 20 or so characters that died to fast for you even to remember their names! The only character in the entire film that was any good was the gun store clerk! He was handled very well, and was a very well done character...

Also the mall in the remake simply isn├óÔé¼Ôäót as totally awesome as the mall is in the original! It has no personality (and a building with personality is important for a horror film, like Overlook hotel or the Nostromo) While the original shopping mall has it in spade's. hokey Musack pumps out of speakers as zombie's fumble around, trying to find out why they are irresistibly drawn to this place.

Also the remake didn├óÔé¼Ôäót have the really cool satire of the original. The original showed the excessive wave of consumerism that was sweeping the country, as well as violent mistrust of the government, the way society can implode easily and growing violence in the city's. I mean, the main character are getting supply├óÔé¼Ôäós from a store in the mall, and the zombie's are out there. But the main character say's "How are we going to get out, anyway?" and the other screams back "I don├óÔé¼Ôäót care! LET'S GO SHOPPING!"

The original is a classic, excellent movie that shovel├óÔé¼Ôäós lodes of satire and political observations, while sneaking in head explosions and disembowelments on the side's.

Also if your wondering about zombie's with personalities, im talking about the Machete zombie that gets chopped in the face with a machete, a dumb look of surprise frozen on his face. Or the screwdriver zombie that gets a screw driver shoved into his ear! The hari-crisna zombie and the helicopter zombie stand out as well, along with the Nun, and the nurse zombie.

Also the zombie baby was SO DUMB! ARRRRRRGH! THAT MADE ME SO MAD AND IM GOING TO RANT ABOUT IT NOWWWWWWW!!!

Zombie's are dead! How can a zombie, even with a 9 month pregnancy, even possibly have a baby. The muscles wouldn├óÔé¼Ôäót work, the chemicals and blood and fluids would all of congealed long! That whole scene was just put in there so that we can do one of those "horrify with goo and disturbing children!!". ARGH!

I REALLY HATE THAT STUIPID ZOMBIE BABY!!!! ARRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHH!!!

Image

Machete zombie expresses his displeasure at the zombie baby!

As a closing statement, i really cannot list the numbers of way's that the remake got it wrong. They had too many characters, and they didn├óÔé¼Ôäót HAVE any character anyway! The ending failed to evoke any sympathy, what so ever and lacked the sudden shock of surprised and bittersweet joy that the original did. It lacked social commentary, it lacked good zombies, and the zombie ran!

Running zombie's are NOT scary. They are dumb! The thing about a zombie is that even though it is slow, it will inexorably shamble towards you, and kill you. Its that claustrophobic terror that gave me nightmares when i watched Night of the Living Dead for the first time. But its not just the scary ness of Romero zombie's that make's them unique. Its the fact that they inspire revulsion, pity, horror and guilty laughter all at the same time. When a zombie gets half its body blown off because it picks up a thrown grenade, and squints at it curiously, you laugh at its expression, and wince at its bizarre innocence.

The zombie's in the remake where just targets to be shot, and nothing more. All in all, the remake was a un-terrifying, stupid action movie. Okay when compared to other films, but a crap fest when compared to the movie that it is sullying.

But granted, the extra├óÔé¼Ôäós where awesome! In fact did you know that the guy who played the doctor in Babylon 5 was the news├óÔé¼Ôäós caster. And did you know that the guy who played the captain of Babylon 5 was the voice of the president! It was odd that the best actors in the entire DVD where in mini-movie├óÔé¼Ôäós rather then the full length one. Also the General who appears on the TV was played Rodger, from the original, and the Marine captain with the mustache was played by Tom Savini, the makeup artist for all the dead movies, except Night, who also played a biker in the original and dose a cameo in the up coming Land of the Dead. The priest on the TV played Peter, from the original.

Now on the REAL end note, Dawn of the Dead is a high point in Romero├óÔé¼Ôäós carrier, and it is a stunning achieving in horror and film├óÔé¼Ôäós in general. Now├óÔé¼┬ª that Zombie baby was soooooooooo dumb <Zoombie dissolves into a incoherent rant about the zombie baby>
