Damn was that a good series, and a decent ending to boot.
Still was I the only one who almost expected Sam to fly Neo-style from that roof?

'Tis a series that's just finished on the BBC.
It featured the guy who's going to play 'the Master' in Dr. Who this year as a police detective in Manchester (in 2006).
Right at the start of season 1 he gets hit by a car and when he wakes up it's 1973.
It was basically an excuse to do a 70's cop show and play cool music on the soundtrack.

Yeah, it was a great series and a good final episode last night. For those who don't know what this is imagine a cheesy 70s cop show that isn't cheesy, but still has the great 70s music and traditional ass kicking. Forget forensics results, ethics, and warrants of crappy CSI, its just "lets just go beat the crap out of them and force a confession." Plus, English acting and writing is so much better than that melodrama the American media machine is constantly pumping out.
