OpenSUSE 10.2 + Spring = no change to play?

Post by Fri13 »

I used kubuntu and it was bretty easy to get Spring work on it, unit lobby was one what i didnt get so i could play only against AI.

Now, i installed OpenSUSE because i cant stand kubuntu (ubuntu too) stupid ideas.

And first game what i came to install was Spring, yeah, i like it is better than SupCom. But, i cant find any 3rd party RPM packages, what is sad.
I cant install from source because all build tools what wiki says i need, cant be found from 3rd party repos.

So, is it really impossible to play TA Spring on other than windows and Debian based distro?

ps. I dont like Alien, i would like to have working RPM file.

The build dependencies must be available in one way or another, but as the wiki says, the packages could have slightly different names.
