Finally clicked the link...

Wow, that's a good deal. It's a little cheaper than the Dell I was looking at, with weaker specs, but it's so small, and light, and mobile...

You can, if you lay golden eggs.
Next thing, I can't play properly without a keyboard and a mouse...

Then why waste everyones time posting about whether you should buy a laptop now or wait, if you already know everything?

As far as "waiting", although im sure you already know this by now and will probably get defensive by me saying this, but anyone who has been around computers very long at all should know that there is no such thing as "waiting for the next big thing". There is always something up-coming which is better and faster, you can sit on your hands for 5 years if you want, perpetually waiting for the newest hardware to come out.

If you have the money to blow for a mobile masochistic-gamer setup, go for it. Ignoring the advice from not only me, but from other people, and if you actually feel your "mobile" needs justify spending that much money... Again, as ive said before, its not my money... I couldnt care less.

I was just wondering what you people thought. Or if someone knew something I didn't. I was being treated like a 6 year old with some money is his hand interested in buying some candy.
Also, theres a difference when someone is waiting is for the next big thing and it's a year off and when it could be a month off; 52 weeks is not the same as 4.
Anyhow, if things go to hell, theres always ebay. Theres always morons willing to bid an item to twice it's retailing price.

Actually there is... right now. I'm waiting for the 8800 to become cheaper/true quad cores to be released before building a new PC. Sometimes the leaps in hardware developement are so huge it makes sense to wait for even a year. But this is an exception, generally you are right. You have to draw a line at some point or you'll be waiting for the next few years.
