How about allowing each mod file to include an icon? (Preferably in SVG format) This way lobbies could use a small icon to display the mod of a game rather than the really long mod name.

I like this suggestion, though I'm unsure if some mods have easy icons.

I hollowsoul and betalord tried to agree on a standard. Betalord insisted on a bitmap format, whereas I wanted a png/jpeg as I couldnt use bitmaps. The general consensus was to use 64x64 sized images and another size I've forgotten but nobody bothered with it.

Believe other size was double or something along those lines, just incase someone wanted a large image in future.

But yes it would be nice & for all mods to include side images, and not assume lobby will default to Arm & Core Images. As i dont want to include them for obvious reasons

I think svg is uniquely appropriate for icons:

Not sure how well Delphi, Java and Python support it though.
