The superunits can easily be swarmed by the littler units. Especially the heavy fortress. The tech 3 stuff is more support than anything. The "ultimate" Core unit, Heavy Fortress, has a railgun, some lightning cannons (short range/AA), and a missile pack that constantly fires.hunterw wrote:No, yes, and no, respectively.Pxtl wrote:Is the gameplay we see above only after spending an hour or two building windfarms and nanotowers? It has a few problems. One, the railgun is NOT area of effect despite its explosion graphic. Two, the missiles are EXTREMELY inaccurate and weak. Three, the lightning launchers are weak and are really just last resort if enemies get way too close. Four, it's committed to the battle once it's there. Unless you somehow take everything around it out, you cannot get it out in time if it's going down.
I mean, you wouldn't be throwing AKs or weasels or peewees at it. You'd be throwing T2 stuff at it. =P
EDIT: Also, I have a few screenshots too. >_>

As you can see, .cheat + .nocost for one microsecond + QAI = EPIC.
