Ummmmm, that looks like really old stock (1-2 years). DDR RAM is now just about obsolete with DDR2 taking it's place, 1GB is starting to become the new 256MB, 6100 is a pile of crap, 200 GB Hard drive is not much these days, CPU and (assuming) motherboard is about a gen back, even the keyboard leaves much to be desired :P

In short...
Don't buy that thing!!!

Here are some comparable pre-built products on newegg in the $1000 range to demonstrate what I mean.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi ... ategory=10

I can give you more advice if you want.

Edit:

Also, are you planning on pre-built, or building it yourself?

Just want to point out that Ghz is not an accurate measurement of processing power. That was propaganda from intel during the netbrust era when Ghz was the most accurate way of measuring power (For intel chips, not AMD). Right now one of the best CPUs only clocks at 2.4 Ghz, the intel E6600, which by far out preforms it's pentium rivals that clock at 3Ghz+.

Edit: In the spirit of stuff... I present full spec in your price range!! I call this master piece "spec for kixxie". Although it seems you are more interested in pre-builts.

Prebuilt, mostly because im buying it via installment plan or whatever you say (month to month, kredit or W/E... can't afford anything else :oops: )

Okay fine, find me a good computer store with resnabole prices that ships to sweden... or even better, is located in Sweden! (one of their stores at least).

Well I can't help that much due with language and proximity barrier :P
Someone else on this forum is bound to know something.

Only site I could think of is http://www.misco.se/
I have used the UK variant once in the past for a minor purchase, so I cannot really attest to their pricing or service. They seems to offer some pre-built PCs from major manufacturers, but no in-house builds. Sadly the site looks geared more toward component sales than full systems.

You could always get a Dell... j/k

I think that:
- "64 bitar" is 64 bit.
- HÃ¥rddisk is quite fun.
- Grafik is even funnier.
- Komp, Ljudkort, h├â┬Âgtalare, l├â┬Ñgstr├â┬Ñlande and sk├â┬ñrm are quite untranslatable by empirical linguistics.
- Mikrofone is very funny too, if the "r" is read like the french "r" (mercy). (does svenska reads that as the english m-AI-crofone or m-EE-crofone)
- Tangentbord, hmm, a tangent and a board, what could that be?
- Optisk mouse, :lol:
- års, years

The special character å indicates that the "a" should be spoken diferently or that that letter in the word is where the enfasis goes? Hmm, should be the second, since there is one word with 2 of those. So, how should we read that?

Ljudkort == Soundcard
H├â┬Âgtalare == speakers
lågstrålande skärm (yes lågstrålande is an adjective) == Low-radiating screen
Mikrofon (teh sp kix, shame) is pronounced m EE krofon with the last o sounding almost like the french 'eaux' (bordeaux) oh and the 'r' is RRR as in YARR
Tangentbord == keyboard ;)

For the records, in Sweden its 'mus' not mouse. Mouse would sound so corny mixed in with the swedish.

That translation is.. horrible. you translated like half the words kix!

EDIT: ├â┬Ñ is an sound of its own just like ├â┬ and ├â┬ñ.
the ├â┬ and ├â┬ñ i guess you know from german, and the '├â┬Ñ' is pronounced almost like the french 'eaux' (bordeaux) as said before.

Much more like it, but could still use some work.

CPU: Right now intel, not AMD, have the best CPUs. Instead of the X2 4600, get either the Core 2 Duo E6600 or the cheaper Core 2 Duo E6400 if you can. Even the E6300 would be better. In this hexus review the the E6600 manages to equal and in some cases exceed the proformance of the X2 6000+ for much less the cost.
http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?i ... arch=E6600

Hard Drive: Fine I guess, really up to your own preferences.

RAM: Woah, 4GB might be overkill. Using 32bit windows and other OSs, particularly XP, 4GB is a waste. Might want to tone that down to just 2 GB for now. Kingston is fine (not the best), but consider the manufactures Corsair, GeIL, OCZ if available.

GPU/GFX: 7600 is fine I guess for your price range, however I would strongly consider the 7900 instead as it offers such greater value.

Everything else is just standard stuff

Also, that link you posted is borked. I cannot view your list without cookies :P

originally from Latin, but it was translated to Latin from Greek, and now we have the Greek again, so we go from that mostly
