Perhaps a unit carrying another unit should do double the normal explosion damage to the unit it is carrying and then let it go? It always seemed strange and artificial to me that my commander can dgun a krogoth and survive, can handle any number of atlas explosions all around him, but once one is touching him, it is fatal.

That way, while comnapping would still be a valid thing to do, you would need to return the enemy con to a specially constructed pen of llts, and you couldn't take other enemy cons with him. Or you could fly him over a cliff and drop him, hoping the fall damage + the damage from the exploding atlas takes him out.

BTW, and this is totally offtopic, my commander dgunned a krogoth, two banthas, and a flying krow yesterday in a real game (not speedmetal). His experience was over 3. I just thought you'd like to know.

As opposed to a krow that had landed.

Oh. I usually don't land krows in enemy bases or let enemy commanders into my base :P

@manored

I hit the d button, and clicked on the krow. It was almost directly overhead the commander, and he blew it away.

I didn't mean to hijack this thread. What to people think of my suggestion to change the way exploding transports deal with units they are transporting?

Maybe let's add "manual" ranks? So I can add ranks to players myself. Or a whitelist and blacklist. With nick highlighting. I know that highlighting is already there, but it should be in some right-click menu not hidden in options windows.
That would allow me to separate good polite players from all the devils. You get in the battle room and instantly see with who you want to team up or is it worth playing anyway.

Nice idea! :P . But it would be probaly better if it showed not only the people that you like/dont like to play, but also the people that many others like/dont like to play! :P

Just like with maps, with an option to override the grade with my own.

Adding the win/loss ratio in my opinion is a very bad idea, because good players will kick newbies from game/aliance to avoid scoring a "loss". Stupid things would happen.

How many tons? :P
Having a list yourself is not the same as everone having a list, because you will hardly manage to get a crap person off your team saying to the host "But he is on my crap players list!" :P

Some things you can do:

Stop playing noob maps

Stop playing games with more than 4 people in them

Learn the names of people you like playing with and play with them

Make smurf accounts and make them join all the team games you play and be your allies and then when they dont connect (one player cant be in the same game twice) .take their coms and control your whole team by yourself 8-D

Play 1v1 comet catcher 24/7
And add so many people to your ignore list that when you realize you have added almost everyone, stop playing at all.
