I will make 0.7 with sound, mines, deleted thumbs file, included cursor pack and nerfed pointers tonight. I promise to overcome my lazy.
edit: It would be really cool if someone could model the "bad sectors", i.e. wreckage/dt, because when that is in there will have to be some rebalancing methinks. I'd do it myself, but it would take forever and look horrible. And no, I have no idea how it is supposed to look. Maybe like a bit, but only the top half and kinda gray?

Quick poll: Should the mines be called "Buffer Overrun" or "Logic Bomb"? I like both names and I can't decide. Buffer Overrun is more low-level like the rest of of stuff, but Logic Bomb describes a mine perfectly.
0.7 with sound will be out later this evening after some initial testing.

*Steponme.
*Dontsteponme.
*System failure.
*Bug (this one is quite good im my opinion since bugs destroy stuff and anoy people).
*Error.
*Virus.
*Code breaker.
*Bit blaster.
*Firewall (another good im my opinion).
I went for Logic Bomb, because I thought that nobody except supernerds would make a connection between a mine that goes boom and a buffer overrun.
Now 0.7 is almost done, but I can't quite get the sounds to work. Firing, dying and stuff al works. But when you select a unit it doesn't respond, and it doesn't respond when you give it an order.
i have this in the sounds.tdf

i have this in the sounds.tdf
and every units has this in its fbi:[COMPUTER]
{
select1=select;
arrived1=commandgiven;
ok1=commandgiven;
}
and the appropriately names sounds are in the sounds folder ending in .wav. Why can't I hear the selecting sounds?SoundCategory=COMPUTER;

Changelog 0.62 -> 0.7
--------------------------
() Sound added -- thanks Noruas
() Logic Bomb added -- thanks Guessmyname
() Nerfed Pointer
() Byte is now faster, half as fast as a Bit
() Bugfix: Assembler won't try to attack anymore
edit: I forgot to credit Guessmyname in the mod, sorry. I'll do it next version, I promise.
edit2: smoth, if you are still interested in adding some cool effects over the weekend, that would be sweet. I think the mine might profit from some more visual awesomeness, for example.
