new option to block giving all your stuff away

i want a option to turn off the ablilty to give more then 1 unit away at a time. so when i got and try to kill someones com it will kill there base ...

I disagree with that, it'd just reward those who can automate the process.

There is an lua gadget that does it automatically. We need to find a way to control it.

I personally think its good you can give everything away, it saves lots of frustration in team games.

But you must be keeped away from giving it to rivals, since we will soon see people making a lot of metal gens, giving em to the rival and then attacking his defenses during the energy stall...

My personal opinion is that a widget that automatically gives all your stuff away is bad for spring. However, a widget that allows you to activate this behavior manually is fine. The reason is I don't think major game decisions should be made by the computer. It's fine to take away tedious tasks, such as managing metal makers or to streamline the UI, such as a single keybound command for sharing everything but com, however I don't think critical game decisions (such as when to use a command that shares all your stuff) should be made for players.

Unless widgets are serverside the user could always use a more automatic widget than everybody else which would give him a big advantage.

Maybe make a delay in giving stuff... so that if your commander is surrounded by 100 brawlers and you try to give everything away, your comm is destroyed before the stuff is given so it blows up. Dunno. Maybe like give only 10 units per second, so sharing small amounts of units is still instantaneous.

I understand this is a very important thing in view of game mechanics.

What about this: an option that, in comm end games, you only die if all ally commanders are dead?
