What stuff? I order alot, Ive never had any probs, sometimes it gets stuck in customs and you have to pay import duty (geetarr), but other than that, its always been fine, especially as it saves me money ^^

Ok, so what exactly is the import duty, since I've never ordered stuff yet...

Im not entirely sure, its a while since I ordered and when I did, I never looked into it hehe, anyway I think its just a small fee they charge on top of tax sometimes you get away with it, i.e if they dont open and inspect your goods, Its not much, think I got charged a tenner on a 500 quid guitar , it seems to vary though, you'll also have to pay VAT on your stuff too though, if its over 18 euros, which it probably is.

you must remember one thing though, Im a dodgy geordie so the the only way to find out for sure is to contact customs ^^

Import duties are 10% + VAT at the normal rate (this is on cars and I guess the same with everything else imported?).

If it's under a certain amount (I think about £25) then you get it without paying inport fees, otherwise they slap on the extra charge.

Go to the customs and import web page for more information.

edit: enter customs and excise into google
