I never stated any rules other than that each person bring a cup of water which they swap. Its a battle of wits where anything goes...

Uhuh. So it could have been like this:
The dragon brought some booze, so did the knight. They partied on till early morning. Sadly the dragon was rather old and doesn't have that much stamina it used to have, so it suddenly died from a heart attack. DEL FIN.
