Good day fellow TA fans. In the journys across the internet I stumbled across this fine engine. Just by chance I was over at the linux gaming tome (http://www.happypenguin.org) and saw a topic about this place on there *latest threads* section on the side of their page describing that there are some people in this community working on a linux port. Which I must say drove me to come here and give ya a pat on the back. But onto the real discussion at hand. Who is this guy Kozuka?
Well.. I am a linux guy, and I love RTS games and TA was one of my favorites (although my favorite has to be homeworld by relic entertainment hands down) I am under the impression that sometime in the future you guys are going to start making your own game. Now I am no programmer, although I have tried on many occasions I just really couldn't get my head around it. I believe its one of those things that I need someone to teach me and in due time I will probably go to a class of some sort in another attempt to learn how to do it. But what I can do is 3D model, although still not as professional as you see in the half-life 2 mods that are going to be comming out in the next few months I am always learning. But this comes to my point that in the future when you start to work on creating your own game if you are in need of a modeler. I would be more then happy to help.
As the linux port progresses I think I will find myself scouring these forums for imformation in the months to come. Anyways, I expect great things to come in the future from this place and I am looking forward to it.
So as always. (at least you'lll notice when I start posting here)
Peace
Kozuka
