Handicap - too confusing?
Please, pretty smiley sweety please with sugar on top rename handicap to resource multiplier and allow it to go from 0% to 500%. Im tired of people leaving the game because they think the handicap we give them is bad, and named like that im not surprised.
If its too hard to fix, then leave it, but it would be appreciated!

OK, time to show you an example.
Set NTai XE9 in cheat mode
Send in your commander near to an NTai commander
and set your commander to reclaim the NTai commander, the NTai comm will do the same.
Watch how fast eahc commanders health drops, you'll see the NTai commander reclaims much much faster than your com.
NTai in cheat mode gets 300 handicap.

When you think of the word handicap the first thing that comes to mind is the bad golfer or the poor kid on the wheelchair. It needs a word that implies what it does!

Soooooo, the % is not just an increase of metal extraction but also a reclaiming bonus as well.....i never knew that!
I fully agree that the term "handicapped" is totally wrong in ever sense of the word. Handicap depicts a thought of lessened abilities and not a "bonus" as it should depict.
Training up nooblits in xta takes some time and waisting some of it ever time explaining the "handy_cap" is a "bonus" and not some form of cheat on my behalf to cripple him/her is a pain in my rectum!
Why not call it a
1) Player bonus
2) Training boost/Mode
3) Resource multiplier (ude have to get rid of the reclaim section with that i guess)
4) Nooblit spamming 101
5) P.I.R.H.M.U.S System (Percentage indicator is relevant on how much you suck)
Personally pun suggestions beside i rather much prefer the "2) Training boost/Mode" but use mode, it sounds less crappy and more perfectional, in witch case is the complete opposite of the P.I.R.H.M.U.S System

I say rename it to resource multiplier and make it only multiply resources. That way, people would actually have a chance in hell of figuring out what it does.
Or add what it does to the help in TASClient, or add a page writing what handicap does on the wiki. As for now, there's no way to find out what handicap does.
