Licho bots need to stay kicked if they're kicked rather than auto rejoining. If they get kicked its for a good reason.

I know but I cant change 23 version old versions they have..

Tombon - that's up to each bot owner .. command behavior can be setup by them..

Even if I change defaults now, it wont be applied for all those hosts because they already have their own custom settings.

Had a question about the new version.

I just downloaded it - first time I have used the program. And I can't seem to host a game with it - without it trying to use some sort of alternate NAT. Basically I always get the little yellow triangle in the game screen that says the autohost is using a different NAT than normal.

Is this something I am doing wrong or did something get changed in the newest version - as it seems to do it even if I don't have hole punching turned on.

1) you have option to use hole punching
2) if you are not using hole punching and have gargamel enabled, it will use NAT method fixed ports ... disable gargamel to get no NAT traversal method at all

Saw that - didn't understand it. Didn't think it had anything to do with the NAT's.

Oh, and I was wondering. Is there anyway to remotely change/enable/disable the password on springie. Would be helpful as my server is miles away.

I can add that ... changing password needs rehost as well..

But easiest way for you imo is to enable remote desktop on your hosting machine..

And gargamel really has nothing to do with NAT, but since lobby now doesn't send players's IP to non-nated hosts it has to "fake" NAT to aquire IP for smurfs system.

It was PM originally. But people (especially nubs) kept asking the "host" if he is here and then leaving. They never read the PM..

I could leave that decision to server owners though ...

And btw why are you concerned with game chat? Are people writing some pieces of literal art there and get disturbed by spam or what?

hard to follow the chat, its full of text written by the server.

Maybe its unavoidable at this point without client side support for the polls..

-the mess it generates by everyone having right on setting up the server

You can have a perfect setup, and then its messed because someone (anyone) typed "!balance", or split corners.. or..

thats why i suggest something like "!votemaster" to elect the guy who will be setting up the game. Its just a temporal admin.

I dont think that temp admins are solution .. this would bring much more complex settings for host owner and wont really solve anything ..
People would have to agree on admin (this alone can be hard) and admin could leave or be dumb and do even more crazy things..

I reduced autohost spam a bit..

- !ring without parameters now doesnt list all players if there are more than 7 players rang. If there are less than 7 ring shows them all in one chat line

- !vote now responds only with number of votes for the option voted

I also added !mincpuspeed
