TAWD gives parse error

I have downloaded the TAWD 2005 (v5.0b4), but whenever I try to start a game, I get the following message:

parse error in download/ihctow.tdf at line 11 column 3 near

It seems odd to me, as there is no such file or directory in Spring. Any ideas how to get the TAWD mod working?

Open springwdb5.sdz with 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org), then edit ihctow.tdf and nanotow.tdf with notepad or something. There are 2 } signs at the bottom. Delete just one }, and save
