Would be useful to make the high-trajectory setting adjustable per weapon (at least for mods, the GUI doesn't need that many buttons). That way you could have normal cannons and high-arc weapons on one unit.

If this power is granted, modders must take extreme care on restricting its use. This would make Spring reach Warcraft levels of individual micro. I can think of very few mods where such a feature would be desired...

Any mod that would want a mortar/artillery unit with a small antispam laser or something...

As I said, the modder would be able to define it per-weapon but if multiple weapons were set to user selectable there'd be only one button.
