i'm attempting to use AAI with XTA but i am having no luck. i got AAI to work with AA by changing the file names to appropriate file names. when i run XTA mod with AAI ai the enemy commander bot builds 1 metal extractor and stops.

please give some hints/tips. i would like to try/practice XTA with some kinda AI/skirmish.

Did you use the updating installer to update your Spring 0.74b1 release to 0.74b2? If so, try the full installer.

check. i'm up to date on spring. i'm tempted to reinstall, but it autoupdated me from the multiplayer lobby thing.

aha, that is the updating installer too, which is downloads for the auto update. So try the reinstall will the full installer.

guess reinstall did the trick. i just did AAI with XTA.
