Well, right now most of the games are just experimenting with the wiimote - cramming them full of minigames and seeing what works. Many of these experiments are failures.
The wiimote itself is comfy - it works well as a pointing device, as a gamepad, as a gesturing system - everything. The nunchuck is similarly cool. Boxing kicks so much ass, for example.
The built-in wii browsing system is nice, as is making up a "Mii" avatar for yourself.
In general, it kicks ass and is delivering everything promised... but you're not missing anything in the wait - other than the initial games of Wii Sports, the launch list feels kinda lacklustre for me.
