Lost. Completely.

Post by deveyus »

Ok, while I found the conversations and discussions on this section of the forums very interesting (some of the theories on driving forces and per unit tendency heredity sound very promising) I still have come to one simple problem:

I can't find an AI that can be played with the latest AA and spring that will learn an adapt because I tend to be repetitive in the way I play, and that won't require me spending an hour or more working to create a config file for it to work with AA.

If someone can simply point me to an AI like this I would be most appreciative.

I just got the basic AA to work with AAI so I am happy, don't care about much else, is there anyplace where I can learn to i,prove my sucky skills? Just cause I can beat this AI isn't much (at least I could beat a much older version, maybe this one is better). Also, I would like to watch a couple AI play against each other, I can do this with the battleroom settings somehow I take it?

u can improve by watching replays, lookin in da wiki, or practicing/spectating. u can watch ai games by seting the ai bots against each other then clicking spectate

Watching replies helps a lot. Especially when you also played so you can see what you did wrong...

Personally I like too much to play and I do not 'study' too much. You learn in time, but this is the hard way, as you will get beaten many times.

I didn't test it in long time but I think (some) humans are still quite better than AI-s at this game... So you can practice with AI for some games, just to see what units are available, but after that... (somebody contradict me if I'm wrong)
