I pursue the martial art of field training with AK-series assault rifles. Let's see you judo chop a 5-round burst of bullets travelling at 500 feet per second, beyotch!

Judo chopping has never worked properly for disarming opponents.

Standing shoulder lock ftw...

If your opponent is on drugs, yeah, it wont work.

May i add that you're probably right. I dont have too much experience of fighting, but ive been on the recieving end of one of those kicks and goddamn it hurts

Well Im a lover not a fighter, mainly cos im nice and a bit of a wimp, but my old mates were mental and im from Newcastle so Ive seen alot of fights and pretty much every one Ive seen, one of the guys jumps into some stupid martial arts stance, proclaims hes a blackbelt or something try an arm lock or a choppy thing get felled with a knee to the bollocks or a headbutt thing and promptly gets the crap kicked outta him ^^

Comp I think Dragon should let you kick him in the nuts and then see if he still feels the same hehe.

Steve's actually right; fuck retard blackbelts or martial arts masters or whatever.

Reason im saying that its not as effective as you want to believe ( a nutkick anway) is that too easy to block with a raised leg or decent kickboxing stance, as well as the fact that even if you nail someone with it, their balls could possibly slide out of the way or something. Nutsacks have evolved to at least try and not be easily disabled.

Yeh, so fuck blackbelts. 99% of the guys i know with "official" belt rankings etc would get raped in street fights. Use your brains and brawn together; status means shit. Training in a real fighting school (boxing, muay thai) is a huge plus.

And yeh ive been nutted before, so ill concede that - it does hurt like shit if it lands.

I bet he was a spider man fan... :p.

C'mon even in spring, it is a disatvantage for the best player if everybody knows that. (so he was kind of stupid to say that anyway).

So, yes, certain not all the belts have a connection to a street fight 'efficiency' , but if you practice something for many years, you can have other reasons other than wanting to beat everybody in the streets ;). (why are you so mad on blackbelts ?)

My sensei robert from jujutsu could whoop any "gangsta," even if they had a gun 5 feet away, he was fast!

I do not know what do you mean by whoop, but for sure there is a point beyond you can't go :D.. What there would have been 5 gansta at 10 feet with 5 guns pointing at him ?

From what I heard, japanese didn't even have the color system in the traditional schools. The fact was they just didn't clean the belt, so in time, after many years of practice it would have been black. As I'm not a historian this could be just a funny thing...

I find it funny that both sides of the discussion are judging belted users of martial arts as a group. Evaluation, to be accurate, must be done on an individual basis. I know "untrained" individuals who have done fairly well on the streets, and I know trained fighters who have done well.

Getting kicked in the groin is a matter of conditioning. I remember when one hit would lay me out. After several years of soccer/association football and some rather rough social issues, I can function pretty well after one or even two hits. Does it hurt? Yes. Does it hurt more that a blow to my neck would? No.

Never said it wasn't, though, notably, I don't remember the first time for me.
