Anyone ever closed megaman x3 winhout cheating somehow?

I managed to close the x1 and x2 winhout cheating, but the x3 doesnt seem very possible for me because of that insanly hard final boss that is followed by a sequel where you need to climb a very hard to climb wall with lava coming after you and a gigant virus head trying to knock you down...
