Thats just something I keep meaning to remove.

Also I'm not sure tis such a good idea to open a config twice.

Are you sure you're using v0.11 of the config maker and not 0.1?
Bug 1) In AA.tdf, in the NTai folder, there is no .tdf on the end of the file paths.
I'm not sure what you mean, I tested making a blank gundam config with NTai and it worked fine with the version incldued with 0.11

Also fileanchor isnt working, says cannot find file, and it seems to be having server capacity problems on some refreshes too. I'd use http://www.yousendit.com or send it to me via email (look in my profile).

And if you add a tasklist you have to select it in the drop down box. I'll have to make it do that automatically in v0.2.

And make sure you delete any configs from the NTai in v0.1 so they're regenerated by the 0.11 build correctly.

Aha now I see, your right the .tdf is missing off of the end, adding it back on should fix the problem.

Damn.

http://download.yousendit.com/81E4B44B53413D55 < cfg
http://download.yousendit.com/4CE9C9BD133AF121 < log

The problem is that the tool adds an extra , before the actual build list starts. I changed it in that file and now it loads fine in the tool but still no action from the AI.

Sorry for all the ppl who've downloaded so far and gotten the errors.

And thanks tombom for all the testing ^_^

[00:26] < Frame: 794 >Value tasklists\lists\arm_commander missing in file buffer

Its no use making a tasklist if you never assign it to a unit.

Goto the arm_commander unit in the units tab and check whichever tasklists you want it to use at the side.

If that list doesnt update itself as you add more then try changing to another unit then back again otherwise post ehre, otherwise it should work, just em being pedantic.

I'm getting errors with NTAI:

GlobalAI1: [-]error, ntai.tdf doesnt exist, therefore the NTai data required to run NTai probably doesnt exist. Please check AI/NTai/NTai/ has NTai.tdf and other AI data and folders....
GlobalAI1: error in Global InitAI, cannot continue
GlobalAI1: St9exception
GlobalAI1: Error :: InitAI() in XE9.3 failed, please notify AF at once

using this version http://www.unknown-files.net/index.php? ... &dlid=2046

With the new version, the AI says it wants to build the mexes and solars but it's unfeasible, so I assume that's something to do with antistall or something.

Bug in the toolkit is all the windows which should have units in them instead have the tasks for tasklists.

is there a version which works with current spring? the one I downloaded deleted my AAI folder and put itself in the folder it should have been in if it was the old spring. that was 22 off your site.. is there a newer one without the scary installer?

Dont install XE9RC22, it assumes spring still uses the aidll folder and that NTai is still the only AI that uses the AI folder and goes and deletes it and rebuilds it with old data.

The NTai provided in NTai Toolkit for testing purposes is the only NTai for 0.74, and if you just want to play games against ti then your out of luck because it doesnt come with playable configs so it will just sit there, so you have to make one yourself.

People who do make configs, please send them to me, and give feedback!

Is there any documentation of how to make the tasklists? I think I sort of have the idea, but it's things like whether I should be using specific units or universal keywords, and what NTai actually does with the tasklist.

And I have looked at the article on Darkstars, but I don't know what is relavent to the latest version.

The old documentation is sorta defunct now as most of what it explains is now automated in a fancy GUI.

The universal keywords however, some are selfexplanatory like b_factory or b_mex and some are a bit obscure like b_guard_like_units.

I'll get around to listing them all and explaining them all some time soon.

Nobody has sent configs in save foreboding EE config which is incomplete. If you want to playtest dont bug me, bug config builders, I'll deal with bugs and whatnot.

dont use the XE9RCC22 installer, its not compatible with anything after 0.72 not to mention it was made before the AI folder stuff changed.
