PS Problems

Hi, i am working on Hydraiel - a WaterMap - and i face a real ugly Programmproblem with Photoshop. Everytime i want to save my work, i get this Error.

I have 7,23 Gig free DiscSpace.. and it really startrs to boring me, because trying to do the same Map again and again, is getting annoying. Plz Helpl - thx.

PS: I can still edit lowsized Files.. but not over 2048x 2048..

Is any of your hhds full? Especially the one where the PS history (temp) is kept?

512 Mb Ram

9 Gig of Free Space on the Disc.. and defragged. And the Map is 16x16 so no Sizemonster... me shakes Head.

does it do this to all images, regardless of size?

No, mainly the Maps.. the bigger Pictures.

THats an error with the page file, even tho it doesn't look like it, that is a Page fault/error.

You need more hdd space man. Also, you should use a secondary drive for mapmaking and keep your main drive as clear as possible.

Photoshop actully creates its own Page file (thats why it says scratch disk noit page file, its photoshops own one). This could mean you have errors on your disk, and it could be in danger of failing on you, how old is the disk? You should run check disk and such things and make sure there arn't any borked sectors. Might be time to get a new disk man.

I searched and found 5x this

Not opened/touched since 21. of May... and 1,9 Gb in Size... can i kick it ?

No of course not. I clean leftovers of temporary data at least once a week.

Of course not. Who would tell you one thing in the first sentence then elaborate on why he's doing the opposite?

Eh... Rattle ? Well it works again... the Checkdisc thing took a hour, then defrag again... and .. i am renaming thos Tmps... if they are still not needed in 2 Months.. i am goning to - compress them, and then after 2 Months no Request... delete them...

You can ALWAYS delete temp files.
