Nope, you didn't get it right. Read again. American puritanism? Compared to what (hypothetical question, not meant to be answered)?

Picasso, stop necroing threads.

BTW "Joke Maps" is nothing but a bullshit PC word to replace, "Flat picture maps".

ZWZSG: The point is that maps with NO height map, should not be mixed in with Normal maps. Neither should the obviously non textured maps (Flatty patty being a perfect example). Use your noodle to figure out whether the map is actually textured or not.

As for "Joke" maps (for that is what some of them truly are), they just need their own little section on UF.

Try not to jump to conclusions please :P

*Still kinda snickering over "american puritanism", and the thought that I would actually be among the "Puritan" group* :lol:

Is it really Necromancy, if a Topic busy someone for two weeks and he spawns a Map concerning that Topic ?

The duck map didn't seem to created a reaction of such intensity, so I infered that there was something else than the lack of quality...

And yeah, puttin "Joke" maps in their own large section is a better solution that deleting them because if a mapper feels unfairly sorted into the "Joke" category, his map would still be there and downloadable, so there'd be less anger toward the sorter than if the map was purely removed.

The swastika wasn't a good luck symbol for centuries, but rather they took the good luck symbol and turned it back to front so the spokes went the other way round.

Eh, not really. Both versions have been used for centuries by a bunch of cultures that would have had basically no contact (early Buddhists, Vikings, Native Americans, ect). Buddhists use both versions - most Buddhist temples in the western world use the non-Nazi version for simplicity, but there are traditional areas where this is reversed- the one that faces the same direction as the one the Nazis used is the "good" symbol, while the usual Buddhist one is the "bad" symbol!

@hydr1x

it would be easier to take things you say seriously if you didnt write "bro" at the end of like every sentence.

I don't like it because I don't play for my commander to share a very shortlived organic apartment with nine others.
