Request: Gundam Models

Post by BlackLiger »

Can someone find some way of converting the GUNDAM mod models to a format 3dsmax would accept? If you could, I'd be much obliged, as I need models like that to work from :) (gotta make somewhat simpler models for an animation I'm making...)

If I could make Upspring work, yes. It doesn't, however, hence the request.

You've tried 0.43, right? And why doesn't it work?

I think you should ask Smoth directly before making a request like this.

Just to say it again. Smoth is a little touchy about his modles, and I can't say I blame him. Those are some damn good modles and some damn hard work, so you damnwell better ask him

Just so you know, I'm not actually angery. I just wanted to say damnwell in a sentence and that seemed to be a good lead up.

You can't legally export models from a mod for your own usage. Modifying someone else's model does not make it your own. It doesn't matter what the intended use of the content is, there is no legal ground for taking someone elses work and redistributing it. As such this is locked.
