Look what I maek!

Yeah, I got bored and played with 3dsmax. I'm looking for constructive criticism from people who've uses 3dsmax before.

No, I don't have a clue why I made it, or even why it looks like a cross between an aircraft carrier and a skidoo......

It needs a LOT of work :) Reminds me of a snow sled of death.

I like the unconventionality in a sense...
Maybe the engines in the side could be shorter and thinner and the legs could be attached to the bottom of the hull (as wide as possible)...
And the front more streamlined, the bottom extrusion taken out, dunno, something... and some less turrets on the top, maybe a few bigger ones. And perhaps an island (you know, the command tower of the carrier). They're kinda in the way of the landing where they are currently..

And just everybody will be pleased with the polycount and sense of balance- and who doesn't want turrets that would fire through each other for better than 120 degrees of arc?

And yes, we're being silly. It's an awesome sled... thing... but it doesn't make a lick of sense, and it's not exactly low-poly. That said, please don't take our commentary really seriously- we're just goofing off. Lord knows, I have made stuff that looked far worse...

Remove the turrets and I think I'd be cooler and more sence making. But only a little. I like the demented sled look, by the way.

Won't that sled tumble around when it attempts to "climb" a slope? 8)

No... IRL, it'd never go anywhere, because that long, heavy nose (cannons are very heavy) would slam the poor thing into the ground ;)

Maybe the engine is in the back and is very heavy, so it weighs it down appropreately?

I'd take the top turrets and convert them to a large rear mount flak cannon to balance the weight and keep everything logical. Oh, and that cannon would be able to fire at ground units effectively.

Otherwise, hilarious?

Can't give you crits because I don't know what you were trying to make. A unit? Something for a render? Ground unit? Air unit? Ship?

A completely random model out of boredom. It'd not work in spring, there are WAY to many polys for something like this' design.

To be fair it's not like many of our other modelers aren't ever guilty either. Analise one of the units in nanoblobs some time if you feel like a bit of a laugh.
