Limit the amount of connects per IP to one and begone smurfs. Then include a "trust" like system for people who need more than one.

You know that smurfing increases the load on the lobby server as well as traffic...

I had to change "$local.log" to "$Local.log" if that helps...

interesting. everyone has 1 other account. in that one list there arent any 3 accounts with the same ip.

It splits them up... Zydox and his two other accounts... Zydbot and Zydsrv. Read more closely.

I'm not of the opinion that we should limit smurfing, as it does no harm of significance, and some people use communal masks or switch off on computers. I'm not listed in those names, just for your information, and I have no smurf.

How come the server broadcasts everyone's ip to all clients?!!?

Most of your results look like false positives, people using their old/ clan tagged accounts, autohosts etc.

You could test if the two accounts are on at the same time, playing a game.
If the two accounts are both highly ranked, if both accounts contain a similar string.

A moderator should erase the list of users-IPs.
I regard IP adresses as private information as well as any "smurf" account people may be using.

And i bless the gods of the Internet the fact that the lobby server never changed to iamacup's site or i bet he would have already started deleting accounts for beeing smurfers, for winning him in game or whatever might have annoied him.
