Ha. Code is no hobby. However, it can be fnu :P <- deliberate before anyone goes skitzo at me.

And Cheery, STFU man ok. The SYs have done well to write a program that does all it does w out any superbugs, such as deleting your entire PC. And as for these bugs that do exist, the only ones i noticed are the inability to connect to games (jornin's code there isn't 100%, but he can only really test on his and the other SYs PCs so what are the chances they will match up?) and the occasional crash, most likely my fault, such as 90 or so fusions all going CTRL + D at once.....

And the slightly out of place video recorder control, but I'm sure they will fix that.

In context. Lets see you get some people together and write an OPEN SOURCE, FREE, TRUE 3D and REALISTIC PHYSICS engine. Then code it to accept stuff from a 6-7 year old game, then make it actually work as well as it does, and gain as much support as it does, and make it so easily modifiable.......

Then come back here and complain.

Oh yes, and get a grammar checker. Alantai may not be able to spell, but at least his posts make sense.

Gah, I hope storm the word nazi comes after you w a spatula!

This release (be it alpha or beta) was made according to the wishes of the anxious community. The community agreed to accept a project with a lot of possible bugs. The community agreed to help eradicate these bugs. Since the release, the community has done two things (apart from offering general support as it always did): it really did accept the first Spring release, even with the plethora of bugs, stability and server problems that it contained. And it also did find and help to eradicate many of the said bugs and problems. Right now, even as the SY are working hard to make Spring even better than it is, we, community, are helping them by taking things they would otherwise have to deal with by themselves, like making an AI, improving the lobby, and whatnot, off their shoulders. In a sense, Spring has become a project made by the community - the TA community, as the SY are also long-time TA fans.

As such, Cheery, stop acting like an alien robot(which I start to suspect you are), and work with the community. If you plan to test Spring by yourself, you're welcome, but there is no need to tell everyone about your intentions, especially in such a manner. Just do it, then tell us what you found, and maybe then we will like to hear about what methods you used, and how do you think would be best to deal with them bugs.

Ahh, so others have heard of Bungies Aleph One installer too?

And what about all the maps, (especially Expanded confluence http://www.fileuniverse.com/?page=showitem&ID=764). :D

He sounds more like someone trying to speak English as a second language... if he's really an English person in Highschool he must be retarded. :)

This whole thread is idiotic. First you complain about all the bugs in spring, and then you talk about your marvelous code testing skills. So fix the freaking bugs!

Cheery, it is the internet. Age matters not, the past matters not. What matters is what you can deliver. If you can deliver, great :)

I knew that, but after reading the feedback, I wonder is it so after all? At least here I can feel it would be like that, but I don't know if majority of these guys are just griefering at me because they found somebody who looks like is humbler than they are. It doesn't matter really, but I feel it stupid when multiple people copy&pastes the stuff before, morphs it to correspond their sad feelings and posts.

Actually I feel even if you would deliver something, it doesn't really matter. Nothing matters not.
