Yet another new map?

Post by SecurE »

Granted, it does not use the full abilities of Spring in regards of the heightmap, but here is my first test map, Snowpeak using the creon tileset:

A small map, best used for a 1vs1, any comments on how to improve it is welcome (it lacks trees as Spring always crashes when I try to add them)

[ Uploaded ], but so you know, it's well under 10 Mb, so you can do it easily yourself (well, if you wish to be listed with all the other maps).

just from the visuals, i like it

the middle mountain thing is metal rich, but difficult to place a mex on, and the rest of the map is pretty sparse metal wise...two geo spots right in the battlefield

i didn't play a real game on it, just messed around a bit, but i think its great ^^

Well Storm, I was looking for any improvments people want before I was going to upload it :)
Thanks anyway though, anyway, what I need is as I said, feedback so I can improve it, but all comments are welcome.

Thanks Nemo.

Well, technically, as more people try it out, there will be more chances for feedback... and you can always just update. All others have done it.

Sure, but having many different version can unfortunately lead to confusion :/

Anyway, could anyone take some screenshots of it with a better comp, I would be intrested in how it looks with shadows for example.

Anyway, new version out, should be better balanced for 4 players now.
