Comon Upspring has improved and it supports some more 3do functions now in it's latest version. Also origin setup has become quite easy. 8)

It would be sweet if individual mods could be extracted to said name folders under the SPRING\MODS\ folder. Would save alot of time for testing changes.

Um, they can. See thread about the .SDD format... you don't have to compress your mod... just rename your mod's folder "nameofmod.sdd"... and voila...

I lack a couple lives of free time.

Also, I do not believe you master all the modding skills but lack idea. That just cannot be.

I just never have time... and also, starting it is daunting. Once I actully get somewere it would be easier, but the starting part is just... Hard. I mean, I can moddel, texture, and I made units for TA so I know roughly how to script and stat them up. But making teh folder and setting it all up... thats what stops me.

And the fact often I can't make things quite as cool as i imagin them...

Never said I did, hope I didn't confuse none of yall. Creativity is one of my worst problems, I can't script for crap... I've never made a UV Map, just made what needs to be textured then uv'ed on it! I'll try to turn my ways around, so far mine seems faster, but for more complex textures, I'm sure I'll need the other way.

Creativity, to me, used to be something I could just let run rampant, for some reason it holed itself up. Maybe that reason is school, I used to imagine a bunch of stuff during Summer...

All in all, I feel like an incompetent modder.

A: I never get stuff done by the time I need it done.
B: Several reasons I already listed
C: I play other games, too much
D: My textures are pretty horrid, hopefully going to change.
E: I can't script for junk, hopefully to change also....

Ahh, I feel better for convincing myself of my obvious weaknesses... I don't know why I would feel better, I just do...

Time to go do something.. I'm bored..
