Screenshots of awesome bases

Post by Aurora »

Post screenshots of the most awesomest, biggest, coolest bases you've ever seen. Well, just in general, neat bases. Here's my TA:1944 base:

The most functional bases by good players tend to be sprawled across a lot of area in the mid-late game (although the important stuff is always concentrated). The general principle of a single "base" area, interestingly enough, doesn't really exist at high levels of play.

Although yes, it does give me an ugly to see some awesomely laid out bases ^_^

Even this isn't true, I've seen many good players essentially relocate for tactical reasons. If you can take a strong forward defensive position you might as well build your high tech facs and high economy there rather than trying to defend multiple fronts when you don't need to.

Absolutely, Swift - but there is still the tech 1 base remaining back at home turf, and it does account for something.

In any case, my goal was to dispute the point that "classic" bases (porcs) are worthwhile tactically, to preempt any rabid speedmetalers >_>

What you think about this?
Its from a series of ARM and CORE fortified bases complex that will include gates, to be put in the next versions of TA-BattleFleet, of course after a general debuging of the old one version:wink:

thats not a gate its a turret from a series of defensive structures that will include gates. Though i could have sworn gates were wonky in Spring compared to OTA??
