I'd say COD but its not free.
I'd say AATA/S:44 but its not good. :P

I actually have never found a free WW2 game ever. :?

Do they even exist? Maybe try moddb for hl2?

PG3 should be free IIRC (or abandoned). Check out http://www.abandonia.com and http://www.reloaded.org.

Also, RTCW:Enemy Territory. One of the best WW2 online shooters and I'm no fan of WW2 at all.

yeah, enemy territory owns.. A new mod released call No Quarter has quite a lot of cool weapons... Hmmm STG 44... BAR... heheheh

Weapons? Oh well I play with minimal graphics and no weapon models (most of the time)... not that I can't play at max details but you can see the enemy far better that way.

Oh, God, probably like 10 or something, most of them would be so small scale and crappy they aren't really worth bothering with though. DoD is really the pick of the crop.

DoD is win. if other WWII shooters had some of their stuff (deployable MGs jumps to the front) they would be made of much win.

Red Orchestra is the BEST ! well not free it was once ut 2003 mod then became ut 2004 mod and now its "real game"

best and most realistic ww2 game ^^ thats all folks

it might no longer work cause there has been new patch releases to ut 2004...

no other game has given me that big adrenaline rush as this did on big battles ^^
