Just to let all game designers know... I am working on yet another version of NanoBlobs, to bring the latest, greatest stuff to you.

One of the "latest, greatest" things I have discovered, and will share, is that smoke via the default Emit-SFX causes smoke that requires shadows to be drawn, if shadows are on. Just like the shadows on grass, this is evil, and causes many problems. I will be developing a new smoke/fire model using the new Emit-SFX-via-COB and will be putting it (GPL'd, of course) into the next version of NanoBlobs. Less evil, much more customizable.
