grats on the "randomly generated" map Forb.. looks cool..

side note that random height thingy of the moon would look cool too.. prolly not possible..

Well, I know that. However, whoever said that all my map proposals were for land-bound mods? I know GEM and FF desperately need space maps - and I don't see an issue with in-atmosphere skyboxes.

youd need volumetric fog for that.. something spring doesnt have.. mores the pity..

uhh I dunno. Not for a little bit anyway. I have a hawt sex desert map I've been sitting on for some time now. I'll prolly concentrate on finishing that next.

Both textures look okay, less agressive seems a bit blurry in some places so I like the agressive one more. Actually I'm going to like any map with these and I just noticed they were used in the S2S remake as well. :)

the blurryness is caused because of springs rendering system + distance.

Ya know. I tried to remake it in sm3 and it looked absolutely terrible. The heightmap manages to be made of absolute and complete fail :(

Meh, I'll take a small stab at it tonight.
