Foe's Rule of Feature Requests/Bugfixes

Post by FoeOfTheBee »

This should be so clear to people, but let me spell it out:

Foe's Rule of Feature Requests/Bugfixes

The likeliness of getting your feature implemented / bug fixed by the devs is INVERSE to how much of a jerk you are on the forums.

For the math impaired, that means more jerkiness = less chance of getting your feature.

Don't forget the severity of a bug, even a total asshole can report a crashbug and it's going to be fixed soon.

Time to implement, maintainability, time to spare for coding, ... loads of other factors.
But jerks have little business around here.

Still, writing a patch yourself is the most direct way to get code in the project.
