i think that plane should be mag as it looks like a "mash" of several planes which is the apitomy of mag.
This has been discussed multiple times - Units can NOT have 3789015790218509128e128 polygons for any sort of gaming application.
Sry

Yes. The alterated version does look like a MAG, but it doesn't have the mix & match style of MAG's, unlike the Trident Bomber. The original version, on the other hand, is more simple, and looks like something from Star Wars. It was originally decided to be an EGADS plane. See page 3, the 9th pic I posted, for the original appearance of this air scout.

I thought the more advanced something was in the tech tree, the more crazy shit there was on it. Like pirate ships with laser guns and space ships with sails. You know...mix and match.

Bingo.

And yes, MLcad and other programs are no good for this type of project, though they are great for concept art. Every model needs to be done in a Wings or something (whatever you prefer). Email them to me and i will scale them with everything else and put them ingame according to that scale, because having giant blocks and tiny blocks and mis-shapen blocks doesnt look good at all (take a look at early screenshots of factory etc.)

Little off topic

That is some sweet concept art, but I don't know that the Spring engine is up to rendering something like that :-(

In the meantime, if you are looking for a vicarious lego battle experience, I discovered Roblox the other day. The online game is fun, and the editor makes it look pretty mod-able. It's beta though, so the gfx are a bit primitive.

It seems to be quite quiet lately. How is the progress? Is the beta out yet?
My homework has increased so I think I can't do the concept arts as often. I might post some ideas occasionally.

Plz release a beta. Let it be just L1. It'll get popular, and motivate you and others to work some more!

You just can't torture us much longer

armbands

Post by Rubbercrack_man89 »

that looks good from the fps camera view...but the overhead view would definately be hard to see as you said...i would suggest making their heads and hands different colors, but that could just prove to be more troublesome...
