THeSwamp

Post by PicassoCT »

Hi, i made a Testmpa- concerning deformable Terrain with hostile Waters - and the Result is - not beautifull but playworthy anyway, just because it is fun. Small and Mudy - here it comes. It is fun- and small 8x8 and only 7Mb in Size..

WHo- this thing is weired, and Hrmph reminded me to put those Tyrandi Spires in, that Lathan produced.. were else then in the Swamp...

I played it- and first thing is - Single Longrange Units have more Force then crowds - Hovercrafts are Genious - and speedy units like Fleas can escape the Fast Terrainchange - Tanks drown - heavy K-Bots drown - It is murderous - even Buildings - drown if placed on soft terrain.. Hell on Earth.

Such Fun just by Accident... i don`t get it. Most evil - one Single Unit rushing into the Middle of a Group or Artillery - the first Hits let Units drown, they Explode, the swamp opens and mjami - the whole Army is no more. .. :-)

Sorry if i talk nonsense, but it is the first Map, that convinces me Gameplaywise.... well just one Version, and then i dig again on the Trenches. Don`t you worry ARGH!

I added the Features using FAs Tutorial and it works... hope Lathan doesen`t feel anoyed having his spires in this Map... but they fit in- at least into the state Map has in the beginning.

Newest Version - with Spires

7 megs? That doesnt look like it should be more than 500kb; you have a ton of similar area chunks.
