Windows Media Player Classic is not a Microsoft Product.

That in itself is paradoxical. Windows = < Microsoft tbh.

Okay... Windows Media Player Classic is not programmed by Microsoft, it's is a third party application for the Windows operating designed to reproduce the core funtionality of The "Real" Windows Media Player without all of the crappy spyware-like functionality.

Indeed it does. The sides do not take up like 50% of the screen for one thing.

K-lite codec pack is exhaustive, although it has different versions from scaled down to the basics to everything you can think of. I have it, but I will probably never touch more than ten percent of the codecs it contains.

Also, in my tests, I found that VLC Player has slightly higher RAM usage than WMP. Anyone can confirm this?
